Computer Tower Sitting On Carpet

This is coming from someone who lives with a family that has 3 dogs and 2 cats so i have quite a problem with dust accumulation.

And if you don t have any carpet at all this isn t a concern. My current pc sits on the carpet under my desk without issue however from what i can see my new machine has a case and psu with vents underneath so sitting it on the carpet is probably not a bright idea. I have a situation where the only place for my tower was on the floor next to my desk. Depending on the carpet wouldn t it keep more dust than a wooden floor.
